4. Service Information

The information provided on this website is general in nature and is intended to describe the services offered by Walker Security.

While we aim to keep all information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all website content is complete, current, or suitable for every situation. Security needs may vary depending on the property, site condition, risk level, operating hours, access requirements, and other relevant factors.

Walker Security may recommend a service based on the information provided by the client and any site-specific requirements discussed during the enquiry or planning stage.

5. Quotes and Pricing

Any quote provided by Walker Security is based on the information available at the time of the quote.

Pricing may vary depending on the type of service required, site location, hours of service, risk level, staffing requirements, K9 unit requirements, patrol frequency, access conditions, urgency, and any additional client requirements.

Walker Security reserves the right to revise a quote if the scope of work changes, site conditions differ from the information originally provided, or additional services are required.

6. Bookings and Service Engagement

A booking or service engagement is confirmed only when Walker Security accepts the request and confirms the agreed service details.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, including site address, access instructions, contact details, risk information, alarm response details, hazards, site restrictions, and any other information needed to perform the service safely and effectively.

Walker Security reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend services where:

The site is unsafe
Access is not available
Required information has not been provided
Payment terms have not been met
The requested service falls outside our operational capacity
The client requests an unlawful or inappropriate service
There is a risk to staff, handlers, K9 units, members of the public, or property

7. Client Responsibilities

The client must ensure that Walker Security has safe and lawful access to the site or premises where services are to be provided.

The client must also ensure that:

    • All relevant site risks and hazards are disclosed
    • Access codes, keys, gates, entry points, and alarm details are provided where required
    • Emergency contacts are accurate and available
    • Walker Security personnel are authorised to attend the premises
    • Any required permissions from property owners, managers, tenants, or site controllers are obtained
    • The site is reasonably safe for security personnel and K9 units

Failure to provide accurate information or safe access may affect service delivery and may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation of services.

8. K9 Security Services

Walker Security may use specially trained K9 units as part of selected security services.

K9 units are used to support premises security, patrol support, deterrence, and asset protection. The presence of a K9 unit may help discourage trespassing, theft, vandalism, and unlawful activity.

Clients must notify Walker Security of any site conditions that may affect the safe use of a K9 unit, including loose animals, hazardous materials, unsafe structures, unsecured areas, chemicals, sharp objects, restricted access areas, or public access risks.

Walker Security will determine whether K9 security is suitable for a particular site based on the nature of the premises, risk level, safety considerations, and operational requirements.

9. Alarm Response and Patrol Services

For alarm response and mobile patrol services, response times may vary depending on location, traffic, weather, access, operational demand, safety conditions, and other factors beyond our control.

Walker Security does not guarantee that alarm response, patrol attendance, or security presence will prevent all incidents, loss, theft, damage, vandalism, trespassing, or unlawful activity.

Where an incident is identified, Walker Security may take reasonable steps based on the agreed service scope, which may include reporting the incident to the nominated contact, contacting emergency services where appropriate, recording observations, or taking other reasonable action.

10. Limitations of Security Services

Walker Security provides security services designed to reduce risk and support the protection of people, property, and assets.

However, no security service can guarantee the complete prevention of crime, loss, damage, unauthorised access, vandalism, trespassing, or other incidents.

Walker Security is not responsible for loss, damage, or incidents caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to criminal acts, client negligence, site defects, faulty alarms, inadequate lighting, unsafe premises, incorrect client instructions, lack of access, third-party actions, or force majeure events.

11. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in the quote, invoice, service agreement, or written communication provided by Walker Security.

The client agrees to pay all fees, charges, and applicable taxes in accordance with the agreed payment terms.

Walker Security reserves the right to suspend or cancel services if payment is overdue or if payment arrangements have not been met.

Additional charges may apply for urgent attendance, extended hours, additional patrols, after-hours services, public holiday work, site delays, access issues, or services outside the original scope.

12. Cancellations and Changes

Clients must provide reasonable notice for cancellations, changes to bookings, or changes to service requirements.

Cancellation fees may apply where services have already been scheduled, staff or K9 units have been allocated, or Walker Security has incurred costs in preparation for the service.

Walker Security may reschedule, suspend, or cancel services due to safety concerns, operational requirements, severe weather, emergency conditions, lack of access, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walker Security is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profits, business interruption, loss of opportunity, reputational damage, or loss arising from third-party actions.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Walker Security’s liability will be limited to the resupply of the relevant service or the amount paid by the client for that specific service, where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
